Intent To Launch was founded by Sheltric Peterson, a decorated Naval Officer and certified Maxwell Leadership Team member with over 30 years of distinguished service and leadership experience. From the frontlines of global conflict to the front of leadership classrooms, Sheltric's mission has remained the same: to lead with integrity, develop others, and help people unlock their full potential.
Through Intent To Launch, Sheltric delivers coaching and leadership development to entrepreneurs, educators, students, and organizational teams—equipping them with the soft skills and mindset needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced world. His real-world experience spans conflicts like Desert Storm, Kosovo, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom, where he spent six months on the ground in Iraq. He concluded his military service as a Lieutenant Commander and the head Aviation Ordnance Weapons Officer for the U.S. Navy’s P-3/P-8 Anti-Submarine fleet.
Now retired from the military, Sheltric continues to serve his community through leadership, mentorship, and training initiatives. He is the recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden and a proud honoree of G.L.O.W. Dallas for advancing leadership opportunities for women.
